This is just a short post today, but something I think that is very important.
Too often are we too worried about something that happened in the past, whether it be something we said or did. Regrets, mistakes, things we wish we could redo or relive, the possibilities seem to be endless.
When we’re not worrying about something that happened previously, we’re concerned about what’s next. Everyone is so caught up in having a plan, that sometimes we lose sight of what’s right in front of us! Of course, it’s important to plan, organize and look forward to the future, but it is just as imperative that we focus on the present. I saw this quote on Pinterest and I thought it was very relatable for the stage of my life I’m in right now.
It’s important to take a little time everyday to pause, regroup and enjoy the moment. Know that this too shall pass. There will be just as many ups and downs in the future as there have been in the past, so take some time and enjoy the present. Life is one hell of a ride, and we should enjoy what we have when we have it.
Respect the “now,” peeps. Because it’ll be the “no longer” before you know it.
